Provide technical assistance in policing skills and techniques to foreign national police at all levels, 3. Identify non-conforming practices such as corruption, violation of human rights, etc), and 4. Maintain international observation and presence over foreign police officers. |

Is it possible to return home following the completion of the pre deployment training program prior to going overseas? |

No. In most cases you will be required to be ready for immediate travel upon completing the pre deployment training program. |

Yes, if CPI and the State Department are satisfied with your performance and recommend the extension. In all cases, extensions are granted based on the needs of the mission. |

Yes. It is offered for both. Employee coverage is at no cost to the employee. Dependent coverage is paid for by the employee. |

Most mission areas have a means of communication such as e-mail or phone service. This will depend on the site or location where you are assigned. CPI offers mail service to all officers regardless of their locations. |
